In 2007 Natalie and her husband, Gregor Manns, created and co-founded MannsMade Productions, an independent film production company focused on fostering creativity and positive expression. Natalie made her film directorial debut in 2007 with MMP’s first comedic short, "Before and After" which she also wrote and received a “Best Comedy” nomination in 2008.  They went on to write and produce three additional productions that have found successful runs and awards in over 25 festivals.

Two disillusioned classically trained actors, tired of rappers taking their gigs, are convinced to act like rappers for a reality show where the prize is their own TV series. Conflict arises as these comedic non-rappers surprisingly ascend to the quarterfinals.  They ultimately win more than the prize; they win their self-respect.
